Robust Cooking Welcomes Linette Gerlach and Sandy Mitchell
I’d like to take the time to share a couple of brief introductions from the new writers who will be joining efforts to serve up some tasty recipes, shopping tips, healthy menus and much more here on Robust Cooking.
Please help me welcome Linette Gerlach and Sandy Mitchell -
Hi! I’m Linette Gerlach, I’m a cookbook-aholic, with a shelf in my kitchen overflowing with cookbooks. I try to eat healthy, and I’m on a mission to provide healthy meals my son will eat.
Linette is the author of Mother Earth’s Garden, where she shows you how to grow your own healthy food, and the Home and Garden Cafe where she shares garden tips, and household tricks. She co-authors She Knows Parties where she shows you how to plan your next get together.

Hi! I’m Sandy Mitchell, a Midwesterner, self-taught cook, organic gardener (before it was chic), and enthusiastic blogger. I love getting out early in the morning to farmers’ markets in search of the freshest local produce; haunting used bookstores for vintage cookbooks, and preserving the season’s bounty by canning, drying, and freezing. The gifts I give often revolve around food baskets and dried herbs. I look forward to sharing my passion for food and wine with you here at Robust Cooking.
Sandy is the author of All Holiday Cafe, where she focuses on all holidays, all the time - she can also be found at the b5media blogs Green Posse and Light the Torch.
Welcome ladies! It’s great to have you!

Welcome to your new site! I’m looking forward to it. I just started a low fat, low cholesterol diet this month. Yeah, my cholesterol was high, probably because I’m a dessert freak.
So, if you have any low cholesterol dessert recipes, I’d love to hear them : ) So far, I’ve only made angel food cake on this diet. Well, for dessert, that is.

Thanks for the welcome, Peggy. We’ll make low-cholesterol desserts a priority.
