Hello Robust Readers!
My name is Rachel Segal and I’m delighted to be taking over Robust Cooking so I can share some of my favourite recipes, techniques and tools for savoury dishes and balanced living.
For me, being healthy and enjoying food is all about balance. There’s no reason why you have to cut everything out to enjoy a meal! Real ingredients, reasonable portions, and small tweaks to heavy classics can yield amazing results - leaving you satisfied and healthy.
A little bit about me - by day, I run b5media’s content team. By night, I’m usually found in the kitchen trying out a new recipe or around my hometown of Toronto checking out what this cities abundance of incredible restaurants have to offer.

Thanks, Linette! These are big shoes to fill after you and Sandy…I’m glad I now have an excuse to both pick up my camera to take photos of my concoctions…AND continue trying out new recipes/flavors. :-)

Welcome Rachel, can’t wait to follow along. :) With winter coming up I’ll need TONS of warm food recipes. I’m horrible at cooking, even been known to burn water and explode eggs.
