Book Review~ The 30 Day Diabetes Miracle Cookbook
Type 2 diabetes runs in my family, I think that’s why I’ve always been interested in healthy food and nutrition. When I was offered the opportunity to take a look at a new book called The 30-Day Diabetes Miracle Cookbook, I had to check it out. It’s the companion and recipe guide for The 30-Day Diabetes Miracle. Both books are by the Lifestyle Center of America.
The 30-Day Diabetes Miracle Cookbook includes healthy recipes with an emphasis on whole grains, fiber rich whole foods, and good carbohydrates.
Recipes include, “Spinach-Artichoke Dip”; “Pita Pizza with Alfredo Sauce”; and “Key Lime Pie a la Linda B.” (this is my favorite recipe, I love key lime pie).
The cookbook has over 200 different family friendly recipes. The recipes seem fairly simple, and the book offers nutrition information with each recipe.
